Built on ethics, driven by access
We started Neskar Dovul because quality journalism education shouldn't depend on where you live or what passport you hold. Since 2025, we've focused on one thing: teaching professional journalism ethics through lectures that actually make sense.
What we're actually doing
Sequential content structure
Each lecture builds on the previous one. You follow a clear path through source verification, conflict of interest identification, and accuracy checking without jumping around.
Real case analysis
We use actual reporting situations to demonstrate ethical decision-making. You see how principles apply when deadlines are tight and sources are uncertain.
Open to everyone
Students from different countries bring different perspectives to the same ethical questions. Geography doesn't determine who gets to learn professional standards.
How we built the program
Mapped core ethical frameworks
Started with SPJ Code of Ethics and Reuters Handbook principles. Identified the conflicts journalists face most often when gathering and publishing information.
Created lecture sequences
Built each module around specific scenarios: anonymous sources, breaking news verification, corrections policy, and editorial independence from advertisers.
Focused on clarity
Designed the interface to let students concentrate on content instead of navigation. Clear hierarchy, readable text, multimedia elements that support understanding.
Removed geographic barriers
Set up enrollment that works across borders. Students join from different time zones and study at their own pace through asynchronous delivery.
Evidence over opinion
We teach verification methods used by fact-checking organizations. Students learn to trace claims to primary sources and assess reliability based on documentation.
Transparency in process
Every lecture explains the reasoning behind ethical standards. You understand why certain practices exist and how to apply them when situations get complicated.
Practical application
The program uses real reporting dilemmas that journalists encounter. You practice making decisions under the same constraints professionals face in newsrooms.
Inclusive access
Quality journalism education shouldn't be limited by location or citizenship. We built the platform to serve students regardless of where they study from.
